July 28, 2008 - Chemo Completo

Spent 5 hours at chemo today. Great nurse (Jill, of course). Needle went in successfully the first time. All went well. It was my LAST ONE. Yay! I slept through 90 percent of it. I'm so excited I'm finished!!

So excited, in fact, that I'm going to sleep off the Ativan and Benadryl.

Will celebrate later.

P.S. Thanks for all the warm wishes via comments on my blog and cards and emails and flowers. You all make me feel sooooo special. You're the breast! Thanks for reading!!!

I am so proud of you! I know you have had a much tougher time than we can detect in these writings. You are a remarkable woman and this is truly one of the biggest reasons I look up to, and respect, you so much. You have accepted what is, and done your best to make it through with as little physical impact to your life as possible. I celebrate your life, as I know you do. I am thankful, in a way, that we have had this opportunity to reassess our lives, our direction, and our faith. Our love for God and family is strengthened and "there ain't no stoppin' us now".
